Little Elite Early Learning Centre’s core competencies are: Well-being and Belonging, Exploration and Creativity, Languages and Literacies, and Social Responsibility and Diversity.
We focus on,
1.Etiquette Development and Socializing - From greetings to table manners, we teach our students to be respectful individuals. We also offer specialized etiquette classes for our students to enhance their social skills such as how to engage in conversation, present themselves socially acceptable, managing and understanding social expectations. Children are also learning how to manage their emotions and strong impulses in ways that will help them successfully negotiate. Our teachers will introduce, encourage and practice social skills including sharing, negotiation, self-assertion, managing frustrations, recognizing the needs for moments of quiet time and empathy
2.Confidence/Leadership - Our specialized public speaking program starts from Toddler level. Having confidence in speaking benefits the child to gain meaningful experiences especially in their leadership skills.
3.Academic Readiness - Our teachers utilize different teaching methods for individual students. Each student has different learning styles which include visual learners, auditory learners, reading and writing learners and kinesthetic learners. To maximize our students' learning during early prime time, in our junior kindergarten classes, we start with a basic assessment of each student to pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses. Our goal is to have our students ready for private school assessments, not just entering kindergarten.
From the Infant to Junior-Kindergarten program, our routine is set to maximize the learning opportunities for all our students. Throughout the day, the students will have structured routines ranging from individualized learning sessions to group learning. Each week, educators will share the learning objectives and outcomes with the parents on a daily basis.
